The Foundation’s volunteer Board of Governors is comprised of industry appointments and public members that oversee our mission to create meaningful results that benefit industry and all Albertans.
Board of Governors
The Foundation is independent of organized real estate, government, and licensing authorities. As per the Real Estate Regulation, the Real Estate Council of Alberta and the Alberta Real Estate Association each appoint two persons to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Governors, for a total of four out of seven seats.
Three seats are available through open calls for public nomination. The standing Board selects the public members. Governors are appointed for a three-year term and are limited to serving for two three-year terms.
